what is Active AirCondition?

Active AirCondition is a wind and water-proof ventilation system for clothing. It supports the climatisation function of membrane clothing, such as Gore-Tex ®, Event R; Sympatex®, Dermizax® etc. Scientific studies by the Hohenstein Research Institute demonstrate that Active AirCondition improves the ventilation of high-performance brand jackets and trousers by more than 35%. The range of applications extends from high-alpine equipment such as outdoor jackets and trousers, leisure clothing, skiing and snowboarding clothing, motorcycle and work clothing. The Knut Jaeger, Marketing & Development department grants licenses for the use of Active AirCondition in brand products.

Active AirCondition is a wind and water-proof ventilation system that functions permanently. Conventional ventilation, such as underarm apertures have to be closed in windy and rainy conditions.

Active AirCondition functions irrespective of the weather conditions. <

The combination of a 3-dimensional mesh and a sophisticated shingle construction ensures wind and water-proof ventilation. The mesh is soft and non-bulky. This makes Active AirCondition suitable even when carrying a rucksack. Active AirCondition can be integrated both as a functional and a design element. Easy workmanship by sewing, welding or ultra sonic technology. <
