| 1982 < R.G. Wiesmeier and the Jaeger family purchase the ski binding company "Ess". Together with engineers and designers, Knut Jaeger develops the innovative new ski binding system "Ess-V.A.R.", known as "the binding with gears". In 1988, the company is sold to Atomic. A patent is registered for the first windproof and waterproof ventilation
system for outdoor clothing, "Active

Big Pack is sold to the French group Lafuma SA. Knut Jaeger is Brand Group Manager responsible for the distribution and development of the Big Pack, Lafuma and Millet brands in Germany and Austria. During this time Knut Jaeger develops the Air Flex Control rucksack carrying system in partnership with engineers and designers. A patent application for the system is applied for in 2003. |

His company Knut Jaeger, Marketing & Development assists European companies
in China and Asian companies in Europe. An office is opened in Shanghai

2006 > Gemeinsam mit der Messe Friedichshafen (Deutschland) sowie chinesischen Partnern gründet Knut Jaeger die „Asia Outdoor“, in Nanjing.
